The team will field the #46 2012 Corvette (Grand-Am Prep 1). The #46 Corvette is outfitted with the Katech prepared LS3 power plant and a suite of other performance enhancements The team completed shakedown and testing of the new Corvette at Grand Am’s Roar Before the 24 at Daytona in January, sponsored by Dynamat and Hub Garage. TeamMBR Destroyed in Seconds?: TeamMBR started the race at Watkins Glen like any other race … standard race preparation for a race day with a chance for rain. However, preparation was not enough for a heavy, localized storm that within minutes flooded the last turn of the Watkins Glen circuit, causing a multi-car pile-up … which included TeamMBR’s #46 Corvette. “Although it wasn’t our goal to be featured on “Destroyed In Seconds” we are flattered to be featured in this very popular Discover Channel and Science Channel series”, stated Baughman.
